Bar & Bat Mitzvah

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah journey is a special right and privilege for your child. Valley Chabad provides an incredible experience as your child discovers Jewish life in preparation for this special milestone and beyond.

In order to ensure that your child is ready to celebrate their bar mitzvah in a meaningful way, an integral aspect to the Valley Chabad Bar/Bat Mitzvah program includes these 3 aspects:

1.     Attendance at  Valley Chabad Hebrew School.
2.     Participation in the monthly  Linking Hearts program with seniors.
3.     Attend Shabbat services with their parents at least 6 times before their Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

After filling this form, please do not place a deposit for venue or set an exact date before discussing and confirming the date with the Rabbi.

Fee schedule:

Fee includes having the Rabbi officiate at your service. It also includes the design, layout and printing of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Service program booklet and a Tefillin.

There are three payment options that you can choose from:
1: Pay all at once
2: Pay half now then half in 6 months
3: Pay 4 installments over 8 months (1/4 every other month)

Bat Mitzvah $1000.
Bar Mitzvah $1500.

Private Bar and Bat Mitzvah training $75 per session with Rabbi Yosef or Estie Orenstein, (fee is paid directly to them). Each session is 45 minutes and takes place at Valley Chabad. Depending on the service type and program, expect about 15 - 20 lessons.
